MEET THE TEAM

Gergana Georgieva
Head of Production & Logistics

Gergana is responsible for Production & Logistics at Alpi Investment. Before joining Alpi’s team, she worked as a Warehouse Manager at a company specialising in the production and distribution of stone veneer. In that role, she gained solid experience in warehouse operations, inventory control and logistics. At Alpi, she has broadened her expertise to include production management, further strengthening her operational leadership. She holds a degree in International Business.

Alexander Dreischuh

Co-CEO

Alexander leads the company's strategic direction, business development, mergers and acquisitions, advertising, content creation, and financial management. Prior to co-founding Alpi Investment with Ivaylo, he spent eight years at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he was an integral part of the leadership team, focusing on Insurance and Operations Practices. Alexander's earlier career was marked by significant roles in asset management, portfolio management, and risk at Allianz Global Investors and Allianz Real Estate. He holds a Diploma in Business Engineering, graduating magna cum laude from the Technical University Munich (TUM), and has completed executive education at Stanford Graduate School of Business (SGSB). His comprehensive background in both strategy and operations drives Alpi Investment's growth and innovation in the marketplace.

Ivaylo overseas Operations, Procurement, Sales, Regulatory Compliance, and Human Resources. Before co-founding Alpi Investment with his business partner, Alex, Ivaylo spent six years as a commercial aviation pilot with Asiana Airlines in Seoul, South Korea and other carriers in Europe and Asia. He also founded and successfully managed a marketing agency, showcasing his entrepreneurial skills. Ivaylo holds a commercial aviation license from RWL German Flight Academy, a Bachelor's degree in Finance from NBU Sofia, and has completed Executive Education at Massachusetts Institute of Technology MIT's Sloan School of Management. His diverse background enriches his leadership, enhancing Alpi Investment’s strategic and operational development.

Dr. Plamen Petrov

Plamen is an experienced Digital Transformation Executive, having served at Amazon as Country Manager Book in Germany and previously as Head of Kindle Content. Before joining Amazon, he worked for almost a decade at the Boston Consulting Group, where he was part of the Leadership team of the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications Practice. Plamen holds a Ph.D. in Collective Intelligence from the University of Bremen and a Master’s degree from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.

Niya Vassileva

Niya is a Founder & CEO at Digital Insights Hub - a data-driven digital analytics agency, partnering with SimilarWeb. Before starting DIH, Niya was a Manager at Accenture London, focusing on eCommerce and large digital transformations for Europe’s leading Retailers. Niya holds a Master’s degree in Strategic Management from Imperial College London and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Lancaster University.

Smilen Hadzhikostov

Smilen serves as Vice President Venture Development at Enpal - Germany's first Greentech unicorn. Before joining Enpal, he was the International Expansion Lead at MAYD - Europe's leading telepharmacy platform, and a founding member and early employee of two other Berlin-based startups - Wunderflats and XOM Materials. He brings experience in SaaS, VC, and Strategy. Smilen holds a master’s degree in Management from HEC Paris and a master’s degree in Public Policy. He is an Aspen Young Leaders and Included VC alumni. He is a mentor in Techstars and the Axel Springer and Porsche accelerator.
