Logistics Specialist

 

We are looking for a Logistics Specialist to join our Business Development team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to manage and optimise our logistics operations, ensuring efficient product movement and delivery, and playing a vital role in our success.

Your Role

As a Logistics Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and managing product shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery.

  • Managing relationships with freight forwarders, courier companies, and other logistics providers.

  • Planning and optimizing transportation routes and schedules to minimize costs and improve efficiency.

  • Monitoring shipment status and resolving issues such as delays, damages, or discrepancies.

  • Managing warehouse inventory levels, ensuring products are stored and shipped accurately.

  • Preparing and maintaining shipping documentation, such as invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations.

  • Ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.

  • Collaborating with procurement and sales teams to align logistics operations with business needs.

  • Conducting regular analyses of logistics performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.

  • Researching and negotiating terms with new logistics providers to enhance service levels.

What We’re Looking For

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • A university degree, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Proficiency in logistics management software and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Bulgarian.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

  • The ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.

 

Advantages:

  • Experience in logistics or supply chain operations, preferably in e-commerce or the food industry.

  • Knowledge of customs procedures and international trade regulations.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems.

  • Proficiency in additional languages, such as German, French, or Italian.
