Junior Procurement Specialist

 

We are looking for a Junior Procurement Specialist to join our Business Development team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to take on diverse responsibilities, develop professionally and play a key role in our procurement operations.

Your Role

As a Junior Procurement Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Compiling and verifying Purchase Orders and Purchase Requisitions.

  • Maintaining accuracy in Purchase Order details, such as ship dates, quantities, and costs.

  • Coordinating day-to-day communication with suppliers, including placing orders, tracking backorders, updating suppliers on-demand changes, and resolving issues effectively.

  • Preparing forecasts and planning purchases to meet demand.

  • Monitoring supplier performance and addressing any issues or concerns.

  • Documenting and following up on purchasing inquiries, issues, and transactions.

  • Responding to partner and supplier queries promptly.

  • Researching and identifying potential new suppliers.

  • Preparing proposals, requesting quotes, and negotiating purchase terms and conditions.

  • Collecting offers and performing competitive analyses of costs, quality, capacity, and delivery terms.

What We’re Looking For

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • A university degree.

  • Excellent computer literacy (MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Bulgarian.

  • A proactive, results-oriented, and communicative mindset.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

  • A problem-solving, can-do attitude.

  • The ability to handle confidential information and deliver results.

 

Advantages:

  • Experience in e-commerce or the food industry.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems.

  • Proficiency in additional languages, such as German, French, or Italian.
